Tuscany

What artist would not be mesmerized by the sunflowers, vineyards, food, and Renaissance masters of Italy? A trip there several years ago plunged me into such a deep creative state that I was unable to sleep for days. I wandered the winding cobblestone streets in a sleep deprived state for much of the trip. I was eventually forced to enter the ideas for new work in a journal in order to rest at all. When I returned home to my studio this series was born, In a flurry of activity, and using some fabrics purchased in Florence, the entire series was completed in less than 6 months.
